Brenzett Aeronautical Museum is a unique collection of wartime equipment, remains recovered from aircraft crash sites and memorabilia collected and donated to the Museum since its formation in 1972. The Museum is an independent Trust dedicated to the memory of those living and dead, friend or foe, who served their country during wartime. Within the grounds of the Museum there is a Memorial erected to the memory of the English, Polish, Canadian, New Zealand and other airmen who flew from the nearby Advanced Landing Grounds during World War II. The Memorial is also dedicated to the Women`s Land Army whose members used the buildings as a hostel during the war.

The Museum is situated in a quiet village in Kent between Ashford & New Romney and its setting is admired by many visitors who travel from all over the U.K.and Europe. We also have visitors from America, Australia and South Africa It is an important Historical site which is dedicated to ensure future generations are aware of the sacrifices made by so many gallant men and women in the defence of our Country.

The buildings are the original ones erected during the 1939-45 War to house the Womens Land Army personnel who were working on the farms etc during the war. We usually have an annual get together for past members of the Land Army and it is lovely to see the ladies bringing back memories of when they worked together so many years ago.

The Museum is staffed by about a dozen or so volunteers who give up their time to run the Museum
